Starting to get the hang of it.

After a faulty ESC, busting two plastic front shock towers, loosing several screws and clips etc, I have finally got my new Tamiya DF-02 Rising Storm running quite well. (Touch wood) Ian and I got a set each of after market alloy body parts in from HK to see what they where like, some of the parts are more trouble than they are worth, or just dont fit very well, so I haven't installed them all yet, but here are some pics of my DF-02 with some of the new alloy parts installed. Once I get some one peice axles I think I will be able to install the rest of the ally body parts (standard axles seem to rub on the aftermarket alloy knuckles)

Oh and I've learn't the trick to not bending/breaking front shock towers is to avoid crashing head on into car's tyres. (though the alloy ones are much stronger than the standard plastic ones)

I've just managed to track down someone who is stripping a DF-02, so it looks like I'll be back on ther road sooner than I thought.
